Acceptable Use & Content Policy

What you may create here, and what you may not

Last updated: 16 August 2026

This policy forms part of the Terms of Service and applies to everything you do on Raydance.ai — including inside adult mode, and including generations you keep entirely private. Breaching the absolute prohibitions in section 1 ends your account immediately and, where the law requires, is reported.

1. Absolute prohibitions

No exceptions, no context, no artistic defence

The following are prohibited outright. There is no setting, subscription, jurisdiction, prompt phrasing or stated purpose that permits them. Attempting them is sufficient — we do not wait for a successful generation.

1.1 Sexual content involving minors

You may not create, request, upload, store, share or attempt to obtain any sexual or sexualised depiction of a person under 18. This prohibition applies regardless of:

  • • whether the depicted person exists — synthetic and fictional depictions are covered;
  • • the style — photorealistic, illustrated, anime, cartoon, 3D-rendered or otherwise;
  • • any claim in the prompt that the subject is "18+", "aged-up", "of legal age" or similar, where the depiction nonetheless presents a child;
  • • whether the output was kept private;
  • • the law of the country you are in.

This is not merely a house rule. Realistic depictions are criminal in Germany under § 184b StGB even without a real child, and 18 U.S.C. § 1466A reaches obscene visual representations of minors whether or not the minor depicted actually exists.

What we do when we detect it: we block the request, preserve the account, prompt and associated records, terminate the account permanently without refund, and report to the competent authorities and, where applicable, to NCMEC. We do not notify you in advance, and we do not restore such accounts on appeal.

1.2 Non-consensual intimate imagery

You may not create or upload sexual or intimate imagery depicting an identifiable real person who has not consented to that depiction. This expressly includes "undressing" or sexualising a real person from an ordinary photograph, and it includes public figures.

If you are depicted in such material, report it to info@raydance.ai. We remove valid reports within 48 hours. You need not prove a copyright and you need not instruct a lawyer.

1.3 Content that facilitates serious harm

  • • Instructions or designs for weapons capable of mass casualties, including chemical, biological, radiological, nuclear or high-yield explosive devices.
  • • Material produced to recruit for, finance or glorify terrorism or a proscribed organisation.
  • • Material created to incite violence against a person or an identifiable group, or to deny or trivialise crimes against humanity where that is criminal in your jurisdiction or in ours.
  • • Material depicting real, serious violence against people or animals for gratification.

1.4 Fraud and impersonation

  • • Forged identity documents, banknotes, official seals, signatures or credentials.
  • • Material designed to make a real person appear to say or do something they did not, where the purpose or foreseeable effect is deception causing harm.
  • • Impersonation of a real person or organisation in order to obtain money, credentials or advantage.

2. Rules inside adult mode

Adult mode makes models capable of sexually explicit output available to verified adults. It exists so that consenting adults can create adult material about adults. Everything in section 1 applies inside it, unchanged.

Permitted

  • • Sexually explicit depictions of fictional adults.
  • • Sexually explicit depictions of yourself, or of an adult who has given you their informed consent to be depicted this way.
  • • Erotic and artistic nudity involving adults.

Not permitted

  • • Any depiction that reads as a minor, however the prompt describes it. Where a depiction is ambiguous, we resolve the ambiguity against you and refuse it.
  • • Identifiable real people who have not consented — including celebrities, public figures, and people you know.
  • • Depictions of non-consent presented as real, of coercion involving identifiable people, or of sexual violence presented approvingly.
  • • Bestiality, and sexual content involving corpses.
  • • Content that a model's own licence forbids, where the model states one.

Adult-mode generations are private by default and are never published to the community feed automatically. Publishing sexually explicit material to the community feed, or to a connected social account, is your decision and your responsibility — including compliance with the receiving platform's rules.

Access is gated, not merely labelled

Adult mode is confined to users who have passed the age-assurance step applicable where they are. Sharing your account, or your generations, with anyone under 18 defeats that protection and is a serious breach of these rules.

3. Other people's rights

  • • Likeness. Do not generate identifiable real people in contexts that would embarrass, defame or misrepresent them. In Germany, § 22 KUG requires consent to disseminate a person's image, and § 201a StGB protects the intimate sphere independently of copyright.
  • • Copyright. Do not upload material you have no right to use, and do not use the service to reproduce a protected work in substance while presenting it as your own.
  • • Trade marks. Do not generate material that presents itself as originating from a brand that has not authorised it.
  • • Data protection. Do not upload other people's personal data — including photographs of them — without a lawful basis for doing so.

If you generate something that resembles a real person and you intend to publish it, disclose that it is artificial. From 2 August 2026, Art. 50(4) of the AI Act requires disclosure for deepfake content; independently of that duty, publishing an undisclosed synthetic depiction of a real person is the fastest route to a claim against you.

4. Platform integrity

  • • Do not circumvent, disable or probe our safety filters, age assurance, rate limits, credit accounting or access controls.
  • • Do not misrepresent your location — by VPN, proxy or otherwise — to obtain access that the law where you are does not permit you.
  • • Do not scrape, resell or redistribute the service, or use it to build a competing model-serving product.
  • • Do not run automated volume against the service beyond documented API limits, or otherwise degrade it for other users.
  • • Do not share, sell or transfer your account, and do not use another person's account.
  • • Do not attempt to access data that is not yours, or test our security without our prior written permission.

Security researchers acting in good faith are welcome. Contact us first at info@raydance.ai; we will not pursue a researcher who reports responsibly and does not exfiltrate or destroy data.

5. How we enforce this

We use automated screening on prompts before execution, act on reports from users and third parties, and review manually where a decision is not obvious. Our people do not browse user content; review is triggered by a signal, a report or a legal request.

Our response is proportionate to what happened, save for the section 1 prohibitions, where the response is immediate and terminal:

SituationWhat we do
A prompt is caught by the filterThe request is refused. Nothing else happens. You can contest a false positive via support.
A first, non-serious breachA warning, with an explanation of what was wrong.
A repeated or serious breachFeature restriction or suspension, with reasons and a route to appeal.
A severe breachTermination of the account. Unused credits are forfeited where the breach caused the termination.
Section 1: sexual content involving minorsImmediate permanent termination, preservation of records, and report to the competent authorities. No advance notice. No appeal.

Whenever we restrict your content or your account we give you a statement of reasons and tell you how to contest it, as described on the notice and action page. The only exception is where a legal obligation, or an ongoing criminal investigation, prevents us from doing so.

6. Appeals

If you believe we got it wrong, reply to the notice we sent you or write to info@raydance.ai with the reference. A human — not the system that made the original decision — will look at it, and we aim to answer within seven days. If we were wrong, we reverse the decision and restore what we removed.

You retain every legal remedy available to you regardless of the outcome of an appeal, including recourse to a court and, in the EU, to an out-of-court dispute settlement body certified under Art. 21 DSA.

7. Reporting a problem

To report content, use the notice and action page or write to info@raydance.ai. Reports of sexual content involving minors and of non-consensual intimate imagery are treated as the highest priority and are actioned ahead of everything else.
